A few Google searches led him to the term “formaldehyde” — a silent toxin released by new furniture, paint, and flooring. He can’t even spell it right yet.
Desperate to make his home safe, he hired a “formaldehyde removal expert” he found online. It looked legit. The logo was flashy, the promises bold. But after a quick spray and a hefty bill, the smell lingered. So did the symptoms. A second provider came — same story. No results. No science. Just sales tactics.
He realized something disturbing:
